Alumna of the Civil Engineering Department at Chico State, Alyssa has been serving with the ministry for twelve years and loves investing in students from all backgrounds. She desires to see students take closer steps to Jesus and raising up new leaders. You can often find Alyssa with her husband Jacob and their two kiddos traveling, gardening, or drinking coffee.

CHELSEA JUNG

Chelsea graduated from Chico State in 2017 with a dual degree in Sociology and English Education. She loves leading people in places of worship and has a gift of calling people to their best selves. Chelsea is wildly artistic and you can often find her painting, writing songs, leading a legit, virtual kickboxing class, praying or spending time with family.

Derek graduated from Chico State in 2016 with a degree in Psychology, which totally influences the way Derek serves students. Together, he and Chelsea serve Shasta College in mobilizing leaders and volunteers to influence their surroundings. He loves being a thoughtful listener, helping students find common ground and growing as an emerging theologian.

As a graduate of Chico State, Letitia joined InterVarsity staff in 2019 with a desire to help students find healing and wholeness with Jesus. She loves meeting students who want to have authentic conversations about faith and has a hope of planting a thriving ministry at College of the Redwoods in the upcoming years. When Letitia isn't hanging out with college students, you can find her doing art, finding a dog to love, or checking in on friends.
