I want to go but $200 is a lot for me. How can I make this work?
We know conferences like this are costly. We also believe the best way you can invest your money is in your spiritual growth. We invite you to invest generously. We also know that the full amount may be inaccessible to folks. Here are a few suggestions:
- Ask your campus staff about a payment plan. $135 at one time may be a lot, but maybe $40 a month is more accessible. Talk to your staff about how to make this happen.
- Ask your pastor, church mother or other leader in the church if the church can support you. If you grew up going to church, or are going to a church now, your church family wants to invest in your spiritual growth.
- Ask your family to support you. If anyone in your family is a believer, they also want to invest in your spiritual growth. Any amount from your family helps!
- If you have exhausted these options, or if they aren't options for you, talk to your campus staff about scholarships. We fundraise specifically to give grants for folks who need them, because we want every single student who wants to go to be able to go.
What time do I need to get there? When can I go home?
Please arrive between 3:00-4:00 on Friday. We will provide dinner on Friday. You can leave after our provided lunch on Sunday.
Will there be time for homework?
Where is the conference located? How will i get there??
- Driving directions here.
- If you are coming from the south side of our area, DO NOT take HWY 36/Manton Rd. Please drive through Cottonwood, taking Dersch Rd for your quickest route on main roads
- Your campus fellowship will arrange carpool.
Who am I sharing a room with?
You’ll get you cabin assignment once you get there. If you are coming with a campus group, we will house you all together. If you have specific rooming needs or accessibility needs, please text Alyssa (the conference director): 530-510-1777
I see on the packing list we need a sleeping bag. What if I don't have one?
There are no sheets or bedding at the camp. So a sleeping bag really is your best option. Ask around your fellowship, family or church if you can borrow one for the weekend.
